Galaxy Gaming receives approval to operate in Maryland

Galaxy Gaming Inc, which is a Las Vegas-based developing firm and a casino product manufacturer, has been able to acquire approval from the Lottery Association of Maryland. The services, which Galaxy will offer its partners with, include table games, innovative gaming system as well as e-Tables. Dean Barnett, who is a regional sales manager at Galaxy Gaming, expressed his happiness over the approval.

He said, “The recent legislation has allowed the operations of table games at Maryland. We believe that with the scope 12 casinos, in operation and planned combined, the gambling industry over here is seeing a rapid growth. Now, for us, it has become quite an attractive market.”

This month has been quite good for the firm, as they also received approval to operate in Louisiana from its Gaming Control Board.

At Maryland, Hollywood Casino, operated by the Penn National Gaming, has become the first casino to offer casino products from Galaxy Gaming.

Games, which are likely to be a part of the Maryland Gaming Market through Galaxy, include Bonus Craps, Lucky Ladies, High Card Flush and Texas Shootout.

While making a statement in the press, Robert Saucier, Galaxy’s CEO, said, “Maryland is quite a solid gambling market. Our entry into this market helps us in increasing our presence in the growing gambling industry of the Atlantic Coast. It is going to help us in increasing our overall revenue base.”
